Based on the same principles as GYROTONIC®, GYROKINESIS® is the dynamic yoga style workout invented by Juliu Horvath that provides the same benefits of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® without the use of any equipment.
GYROTONIC® exercises are fluid waves of movement that work with breathing techniques. The exercises work the shoulders, spine and lower body in gentle circular movements whether standing, sitting on a chair, or lying down on the mat. The seated exercises are designed to open up the neck and shoulder areas and loosen the spine. Exercises on the mat work to both stretch and strengthen the muscles, releasing tension and chronic stiffness. Because the movements are circular, the entire core body is strengthened for better posture.
